When my therapist first recommended The Intimacy Factor, I really didn’t know what to expect. I had never read a psychotherapy or self-help book before and was curious if I’d be able to follow along and understand the context or get lost in overly complicated jargon and lingo. Not only was it easy to follow, but I totally identified with it and tried to absorb pretty much every part I read. One of two books that were very inspirational to me, The Intimacy Factor can absolutely change your life. Pia breaks down through research and real-life experiences, what she has learned about intimate relationships and the reasons why they fail or succeed.
Very, very interesting and enjoyable; in my opinion an essential read. I’m sure that many of us have experienced breakdowns in our relationships and selves, and picking up The Intimacy Factor would be a great first step towards building healthier ones.
